AntBuddy App for AI Assistants — Terms of Service

1. About these terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AntBuddy app for AI assistants (the "App"), provided by AntBuddy Joint Stock Company ("AntBuddy", "we", "us" or "our"). An "AI assistant" is a third-party AI chat service that you connect the App to, such as ChatGPT.

By connecting the App to your AI assistant, you agree to these Terms. If you use the App on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that business.

The App is part of the AntBuddy service. Your use of the AntBuddy service itself remains governed by the agreement between AntBuddy and your organization. If these Terms and that agreement conflict, that agreement applies.

2. What the App does

The App lets AntBuddy users work with their AntBuddy workspace from inside an AI assistant. With the App you can view and filter the customer conversations in your workspace's inbox, read the recent messages of a conversation, list the AntBuddy workspaces you belong to and switch between them, and ask questions about AntBuddy products.

The App reads information from your AntBuddy workspace. It does not send messages to your customers, and it does not create, edit or delete customers, conversations, tickets, orders or deals.

We may add, change or remove features of the App. When a change affects what the App can do with your data, we update these Terms and our privacy policy before the change takes effect.

3. Who may use the App

You may use the App only if you have an AntBuddy account and you are a member of at least one AntBuddy workspace. The App is a business tool and is not intended for children.

The App can access only the workspaces your account belongs to, within the permissions your account has in each workspace. Your organization's administrator controls those permissions and can remove your access at any time.

4. Your account

You connect the App by signing in with your AntBuddy account through AntBuddy's identity service. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for all activity carried out through the App with your account.

If you believe your account or the App connection has been used without your permission, disconnect the App in your AI assistant's settings and contact us at support@antbuddy.com.

5. Acceptable use

When you use the App, you agree not to:

  • Access workspaces, conversations or data that you are not authorized to access, or try to get around the permissions set for your account.

  • Use the App to collect, copy or export customer data for purposes your organization has not authorized, or in breach of applicable data protection laws.

  • Use the App to send passwords, sign-in codes, payment card details or government ID numbers.

  • Interfere with, overload or disrupt the App, the AntBuddy service or the systems they run on, or try to probe, scan or test their vulnerability without our written permission.

  • Reverse engineer the App, except where the law allows this despite this restriction.

  • Use the App in violation of any law, or of the terms and policies of your AI assistant.

We may suspend or restrict your use of the App if we reasonably believe you are breaching these Terms or putting the App, other users or customers at risk.

6. Customer data and your responsibilities

The conversations shown through the App belong to the business that uses AntBuddy. That business is responsible for having a lawful basis to process its customers' data and for how its users use that data.

Information the App returns is shown in your AI assistant and is handled by the company that operates it under its own terms and privacy policy. You are responsible for deciding what you ask the AI assistant to do with that information.

7. AI-generated content

Your AI assistant writes its answers, summaries and suggestions itself, based on the information the App returns. Answers to questions about AntBuddy products are generated from AntBuddy's documentation. AI-generated content can be incomplete or wrong. Check important information in AntBuddy before you rely on it, and do not treat it as legal, financial or other professional advice.

8. Third-party services

The App works inside an AI assistant operated by a third party, such as OpenAI for ChatGPT, and relies on the messaging platforms your workspace has connected, such as Meta, Zalo or Telegram. These services are not controlled by AntBuddy, and their own terms apply to your use of them. We are not responsible for their availability, content or practices.

9. Intellectual property

AntBuddy and its licensors own the App, the AntBuddy service, and the related software, documentation, names and logos. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App for your organization's internal business purposes while you have access to AntBuddy. They do not transfer any ownership to you.

10. Availability and changes

We work to keep the App available and reliable, but we provide it "as is" and "as available". The App may be interrupted for maintenance, updates or reasons outside our control, and it depends on your AI assistant and on the AntBuddy service being available.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, AntBuddy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the App or your inability to use it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Ending your use of the App

You can stop using the App at any time by disconnecting it in your AI assistant's settings (in ChatGPT: Settings → Apps). Your access also ends if your AntBuddy account is closed or your organization removes your access. We may stop offering the App, or end your access under Section 5, with notice where reasonably possible.

Sections 6, 7, 9, 11 and 14 continue to apply after your use of the App ends.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms when the App or the law changes. When we make material changes, we update the "Last updated" date above. If you keep using the App after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by discussion will be handled by the competent courts of Vietnam, unless the law that applies to you requires otherwise.
